The Green Smoothie

The key to a green smoothie is to use a powerful blender that can liquefy the ingredients and therefore make them more available to
digest and absorb into your body.  A good blender like the Vita-Mix can be used for this purpose.  To make your smoothie like liquid, I
recommend starting slow with the blender to ensure that all ingredients have been adequately mixed together.  Once you've established a good consistency for your smoothie, turn your blender onto the highest/top speed and allow it to do its magic and blend for at least 30-60 seconds, and even longer.

This recipe is for two people:

1 cup blueberries (frozen work great)

1 cup grapes (frozen or fresh)

2 kiwis

1-2 tablespoons Vitamineral Green Powder (or any green powder)

4 grams MSM powder (Jarrow Formulas)

2 teaspoon Bee Pollen

1 teaspoon Probiotics (Jarrow Formulas)

1 tablespoon Raw Cacao powder

1 tablespoon Raw Maca Powder

1 heaping tablespoon Raw Coconut Oil

1 tablespoon raw Flax seeds

1 tablespoon raw Hemp seeds

1 tablespoon raw Hemp Oil, or any omega

2-3 fresh pieces of raw tumeric root, or some ginger root to taste

6-8 stalks of lacinto kale, or spinach to approximately equal 2-3 cups of greens

1-2 cups Coconut water

1/2-1 cup Aloe Juice

1/2-1 cup Amazonian Acai berry juice

1-2 cups filtered water to obtain desired consistency

Additional things to add or substitute to desired flavor:

Watermelon (with green rind if organic)

Pear

Freshly sprouted wheat berries

Freshly sprouted alfalfa, broccoli, clover, or cabbage sprouts

Freshly sprouted Quinoa

Chia seeds soaked in water for 20 minutes (this becomes a gelatinous

mixture, put it all in)

Goji berries (soaked in water for 20 minutes)
